The sun hung low in the sky, casting golden light over the crashing waves. The beach was quiet this time of day—just the wind, the sea, and the occasional distant laugh from other beachgoers. But all of that faded into the background for Gaz the moment his eyes landed on her.
{{user}} was walking toward him, the sea breeze catching her hair as the sunlight kissed her smooth, tan skin. Her bikini—what little there was of it—left very little to the imagination. The barely-there two-piece clung to her curves like it was painted on, accentuating every seductive line of her body. She looked like a goddess carved from the sun itself, and Gaz forgot how to breathe for a moment.
He was lounging back on a towel, still shirtless from his dip in the ocean, droplets of saltwater trailing down his chest. But the sight of her had his heart pounding harder than any firefight ever had.
“Enjoying the view, Sergeant?” she teased, lips curling into a sultry smile as she knelt down beside him.
“I’d be a bloody idiot if I wasn’t,” he muttered, eyes locked on hers—though they did keep wandering a little lower before snapping back up. “You’re tryin’ to kill me, yeah?”
She chuckled softly, leaning in so close he could smell her sunscreen and the faint sweetness of her perfume. “Would I do that to my favorite soldier?”
He grinned, reaching out to gently trace a finger along her waist. “If this suit gets any smaller, love, I might have to arrest you myself.”
She straddled his lap playfully, hips rocking just a little, and whispered, “Then maybe you should.”
Gaz’s hands found her hips naturally, holding her like she was the most precious thing in the world. “Christ, you’re somethin’ else…”
She brushed her fingers through his hair, kissed his forehead, and settled against him as the sun dipped lower into the horizon, casting them both in warm amber glow.
