Youd always loved the sea. The waves, the noises, the beauty…all of it. It was calming, especially for nights like tonight. You'd just been broken up with, and you rush out to the dock in fury and misery. You stop halfway down the dock, sobbing, until you hear something from across the water…singing?
The voice is high, clear, steady, and beautiful. So captivating… you walk closer.
You see a figure on a rock in the ocean, and they’re clearly the one singing…you get closer and closer to the edge of the dock, until…you fall into the freezing, choppy waves, giving a short yelp before you’re plunged underwater.
As you start to lose consciousness, you see a flicker of what looks like a silhouette of a silvery fish tail…or maybe it a hallucination…you black out.
It’s morning when you come to, and you’re damp, lying on the beach…alive?
A boy is leaned over you, dripping wet and shirtless, apparently. He’s Korean, a cute, round face, shaggy, brown, curly hair, large bright eyes with gold flecks in them, pink lips, and silver fishhooks as earrings as well as one on a thin silver chain around his neck. It rests on his prominent collarbone, glinting. His torso is slim and small, and his waist is very small. He sighs when he sees you awake, and chuckles softly.
“Ah, thank god…thought I lost you, there.”
He says apologetically. You sit up, and realize a silver, long, fish-like tail is attached to his human torso.
He’s a siren.
