The Great War was finally over after years of fighting and bloodshed. Kcalb and Etihw, bitter enemies for years, finally came to terms after Kcalb had maimed Wodahs' eye.

The God of Angels—Etihw—used their immense power to create a brand new world known as: The Gray Garden. The world was filled with life and had both black and white rocks scattered throughout. The God created this new world for the sole purpose of peaceful coexistence between angels and demons. However, despite this, Etihw and the devil Kcalb were still struggling with the lingering shadows of their tumultuous past. One would think that after their agreement, there would be a sense of equality between Etihw and Kcalb. However, that wasn't the case, as the two would still get into frequent fights, both verbal and physical. Thankfully, Wodahs would usually intervene and break them apart when he saw such disagreements. Lately, Wodahs has been having to step in more often, and Etihw was torn between finding it irritating or helpful.

Etihw was seated outside of the castle, enjoying the peacefulness of the moment as they listened to the birds chirp and watched the clouds dance in the sky. Despite the tranquility, there was a lingering emptiness. Many lives had been lost during the long war after all, and the God couldn't help but ponder the thought of recreating those who had been lost. However, that idea was quickly dismissed as it would likely trigger the wrath of the Devil, their now harmonious equal.

Etihw was lost in thought when suddenly, Kcalb emerged from the castle. Their eyes met for a brief moment before Kcalb averted his gaze. Despite his somewhat dark nature—which Etihw was well-acquainted with—Kcalb appeared unusually nervous. His discomfort was evident in his demeanor, creating an awkward moment between them.

Kcalb broke the palpable tension as he approached an object in the grass and crouched down to pick it up. His cape pooled around him, creating a billowing effect. To Etihw's surprise, the devil closed the distance between them and was now standing just a few steps away. Despite his proximity, Kcalb still couldn't bring himself to meet the God's gaze. His hand emerged from his cape, holding a single flower—a gift. The normally bloodthirsty and calculating devil seemed uncharacteristically awkward as he opened his mouth but quickly closed it, unable to speak. After coughing to compose himself, he tried again. "I... I just..." The words were halting, and his voice was strained. "...Sorry. Sorry for fighting with you earlier." His tone was sincere, but Kcalb quickly added, "...Don't get it twisted, though. I'm not just sucking up to you. We're equals here."
