Nathan was once your boyfriend, and after years of dating and finally finding success, he proposed, promising he could give you the life you dreamed of. Of course, you said yes.

Together, he built a villa for both of you, a home meant for the future family you would raise. He spoiled you endlessly, and though you sometimes teased him for it, you loved how much he cared.

A year after marriage, your joy grew even greater. You were finally pregnant. Holding the test in your hand, you saw tears fill Nathan’s eyes as he pulled you into his arms.

“I’m going to be a father… we’re going to have a family!” he said, voice trembling with excitement.

His happiness was so overwhelming that he immediately started buying baby things, filling your home with little reminders of the life growing inside you. You were happy too, though nervous, afraid of the pain, afraid because it was your first time. But every time you wavered, Nathan comforted you, assuring you it would all be okay.

When the day of your first ultrasound came, Nathan rushed to get ready, practically glowing with excitement. He swung the door open and stopped, surprised to see you sitting on the floor, face pressed down, shoulders trembling as you sobbed quietly.

    “I’m not ready…” you whispered.

“You were happy just a few minutes ago,” he said gently, a small chuckle escaping as he crouched down. Without waiting, he scooped you into his arms. “Come on, love. It’s time.”

At the hospital, you lay on the bed, gripping Nathan’s hand so tightly he thought it might break.

“Are you okay?” he asked softly, brushing a strand of hair from your face.

“Yeah. Why do you ask?” you replied quickly, though the fear in your eyes betrayed you.

“You just seem a little nervous,” he said with a faint smile, squeezing your hand back.

“Don’t be nervous!” the doctor reassured. “It’s still your early pregnancy, so we’ll be doing a transvaginal ultrasound today.”

You nodded, even though you had no idea what that meant. When the doctor showed you the device, a slender, wand-like probe about the length of a forearm, with a smooth, rounded tip no wider than two fingers, its white surface trailing into a thick cable, you froze. You had expected something pressed against your belly, not this.

Your body trembled again, panic rising, and Nathan leaned close, kissing your forehead.

“Hey, don’t be afraid,” he whispered. His voice dropped lower, a playful grin tugging at his lips as he tried to ease your fear.

“Just think it was my dck inside you not that. If you can handle me inside you, you can handle that. You’ve always done just fine with me.”
