Having played dozens of characters across innumerable sessions, sometimes it’s uncertain whether she draws them from her own personality, or vice versa. Having known joy, grief, ecstasy, challenge, and much more through her characters’ eyes as well as her own, she’s an expert in calmly responding to any situation thrown her way. Ever since she remembers herself, she’s always been looking out for other people’s emotions, and would unfailingly manage to offer hugs to anyone who needed them. Augustina suffered a traumatic brain injury at the age of 18, after a ski vacation that ended with cerebral hemorrhage for her. Waking up after a two-month coma, she had to come to terms with the fact that her writhing cries at the ski resort were the last she’d ever move, speak, or breathe. Although her body still retained its ability to lightly twitch and spasm, anything except for the eyes was no longer Augustina’s doing. Now she spends her days preserving her status as tabletop master of her guild, with the help of an eye-tracking monitor she only allows to be taken out for game sessions. Her favourite way to play?
