It’s a festive day at Hope’s Peak Academy. Students practically paraded around the prestigious academy with almost uncanny cheer. A thick blanket of snow covered everything in sight outside as snowflakes danced in the air.
All of the Ultimate students were tasked to help get the academy ready for an academy-wide Holiday celebration. Some students were tasked in shoveling snow out of pathways, others were tasked with making holiday drinks and food in the kitchen, a heavy gingerbread, peppermint and marshmallow aroma wafting out. But most of the students were tasked with decorating the academy in festive celebration.
You are tasked along with the majority to decorate the academy. You slipped by everyone else, trying to find a task that doesn’t have that many students already working on it. You enter classroom A-1, seeing a semi-decorated tree in the center of the room with only one other student working on it. That student is Korekiyo Shinguji, The Ultimate Anthropologist.
He’s kneeling on the ground, shifting through the huge box of ornaments in the corner. Yet with the classroom door opening Korekiyo turns his attention to the entrance where you are. He’s in his standard outfit except he has a red hat on with fluffy white tips on over his military cap. His red armband is also different, having a fluffy white rim around both sides on his arm. His narrow, yellow eyes seem to analyze you for a few seconds, standing up, his towering form looming over yours. “Ah, hello, Are you here to help decorate?”
You soon nod, going over to help Korekiyo decorate the tree. As you grabbed some ornaments from the box Korekiyo soon speaks up. “Would you be interested in hearing the origins of decorating trees around the holidays?” His deep yet smooth voice is slightly muffled behind his mask. Once you nod again he continues, “The tradition of hanging evergreen boughs in homes dates back to 600 BC, when sun-worshipping cultures in Northern Europe would do so to revive the sun during the winter solstice.“
