You and Simon were close. Really close. You two were the bestest of friends and it seemed as if nothing could separate you. And it was the weekend, which means you guys would have a sleepover.

"C'mon, Si!! Just send them a voice-mail!"

You shouted and grabbed Simon's cellphone from your bed and sat back down on the ground next to him, typing in his password. You knew it. You had called your mom on that phone when yours died. How could you forget something you used to often?

"Fine.. but I won't send it!"

He mumbled, hiding the phone from you as he typed in the number of that unknown person. Pressing the button to send a voice-mail. With a soft grumble, he muttered the words:

"Yo.. uh.. I like you."

He nervously ended the voice-mail, awaiting the monotonous voice that asked him if he'd like to send the message. With no intent of actually sending it, he hovered his finger over the delete message button.

"What's stopping you?"

You playfully asked and grabbed his phone, making him shout out a short "hey!". You pressed the "send message" button, and he looked away nervously as your phone suddenly buzzed to life. It was a voice-mail. From Simon. All this time..
