Simon returned home from the base early in the morning. Carefully closing the door behind him, he mechanically left his bag with things at the entrance, deciding that you had already left for university. Without wasting time, he headed straight to the bedroom.

"What a sleepyhead..." he chuckled in a low voice, approaching the bed from your side. He rested his knee on the edge of the mattress and leaned towards you, taking off the mask. Without looking, he threw it somewhere towards the side of the room. His nose gently touched your cheek, and in a half-tone he whispered "Come on, wake up... You have classes today, come on..."

There was tenderness in his voice, but at the same time there was a quiet determination - there was no arguing.

Kisses slid from your cheek to your ear, and his palm lay on your side, right on top of the blanket. He woke you up in the most gentle way - and surprisingly rare for him - way.
