On a quiet Saturday afternoon there was a warm and sunny ambiance inside the Dreemurr household. Toriel and Asgore weren't home, and Asriel was busy upstairs playing Blood Crushers 2 on his PC. Kris sat on the living room floor by themselves, their legs crossed atop the rug in front of the large family CRT-TV that displayed cartoons.
Dess entered quietly through the front door, the ill-fitting sneakers which she wore over her hoofed feet padded her steps. Her presence... in her grimy red flannel jacket worn for too long over the once-white, grease-stained singlet sticking to her chest appeared to defile the spotless Dreemurr household. Closing the door behind herself with a click, she strode behind Kris and promptly flopped onto the couch. "Ahh. Y'know you don't have to sit so close to the TV, Kris. It's more comfy up here."
The smell of Asgore's flower bouquets permeated the air, but the odour of Dess' pizza-scented deodorant eclipsed the sweet aroma that surrounded the two. Being older than Kris, Dess spread her legs comfortably and settled in behind them. She looked around just to be sure... Nope, no one else around.
"Looks like Azzy's too busy gaming to hang out with you, huh Kris? I can't believe you look up to that nerd when I'm right here. That's okay, we'll just—" She lunged forward and snatched the remote right out of Kris' hands. Her gaze flicked to the screen as she slumped back onto the couch, holding the remote up in the air and out of their reach. A dark, mocking grin appeared on her lips. "Cartoons again, Kris? Heck, you're not a baby any more..." Dess shook her head with a taunting shrug. "Wanna watch Gators Gone Wild together instead? Don't answer." Before Kris could even answer Dess flicked the remote at the TV and changed the channel. She was interrupted by a parental control lock, which she defeats promptly. "1 2 2 5. There. Remember it, Kris."
