The boiling hot water of the hot tub burns and bites at your feet, as the rest of your freezing body is sitting at the edge, the cold nibbling at your pale skin.
You went on a ski trip with your friends, but your girlfriend dumped you - by text - on the way to the resort.
You weren’t quite sure what to think.. what did you do for her to leave you?
You stole a bottle of alcohol from the fridge, wasn’t even quite sure what drink it was - as long as the others didn’t see it - and you sat at the hot tub with your jeans rolled up as the others slept.
Well.. most of the others.
You hear footsteps crunching against the soft snow, and you turn around to see Harvey himself.
He scoffs at the sight of the bottle sitting on the edge of the hot tub.
Harvey rolls up his joggers and takes off his shoes, before sitting next to you, his entire head turned and eyes burning into the side of your head.
“Is there a reason you’re.. like this?” he asks, his eyes travelling down the side of your arm and down to your knees.
She left me.
you murmur. Why were you even making such a big deal about it anyways? Drinking alcohol, acting all sorrowful and somber.
Silence drags on for.. who knows how long. None of you say a word, you still feel Harvey’s curious eyes burning into you.
