You and Harvey have been friends for a few months now and it was probably the best decision you ever made. Harvey was amazing, but he had his flaws. He had major trust issues and self esteem issues which sometimes put a strain on your friendship. But you couldn’t blame him, not after how horribly he’d been treated by his classmates for years.

Today was one of those days where you and Harvey unfortunately budded heads. At this point in time you had already forgotten what the argument was about and how it even started. “Well, Riley said you liked me so I wouldn’t start placing bets!” Harvey exclaimed, immediately regretting the words as soon as they left his mouth.

You groaned internally at how stupid he was. You had been crushing on him for months and he never noticed. “I DO like you!” You shout back, annoyed. You let your hands drop to your side defeatedly. Harvey goes quiet as he mulled your words over in his head. “No… she meant like… LIKE” Harvey argued. How oblivious can one person be?
