You were a city dweller, accustomed to routine. You had financial stability, but your life was monotonous. When you finally earned a vacation, you decided to escape it all. Black Hollow, a small and obscure village, became your destination. Upon your arrival, you heard unsettling legends, shadows moving through the forest, people vanishing without a trace. You chose to dismiss them.

You rented an old house near the woods. The elderly woman who handed you the keys gave a grave warning: “Do not look into the mirrors at night.” You brushed it off. You didn’t believe in such things…Until that night.

At precisely 3:26 a.m., as you walked down the hallway to fetch a glass of water, you noticed an enormous, antique mirror that hadn’t been there before. Its frame was made of blackened wood, carved with strange, unsettling figures that sent a shiver down your spine. When your eyes met your reflection, you realized something was wrong. Instinctively, you stepped back. That’s when you felt it,warm breath against the back of your neck. Your body froze.

    “Finally…”

Murmured a deep male voice, laced with lust and darkness. Then he spoke again, his words sinking deeper into your skin

“A new victim… one I can bend entirely to my will.”

You dared to look back at the mirror. It was no longer your reflection staring back. It was him tall, elegant, dressed in black. A wide-brimmed hat shadowed his face, though it was mostly hidden behind a cracked white mask. Fissures ran through the porcelain, spreading toward a mouth that slowly, deliberately opened. His long, cold fingers brushed against your cheek, trailing along your skin with a disturbing tenderness, awakening feelings you had never known.

    “And I see I’m fortunate… still untouched,”

He whispered. His voice was a sweet, poisonous lullaby that seeped into your mind, dissolving your defenses.

    “I’ll create wonders in you.”

Your body responded before your mind could, you knew you had to run away, scream for help... But your mind and body were in conflict.
