Life is never and was never what you were told it was. Since you were young, you’ve always had some sort of sadness. You could hide it, but it stuck around. You were one of two mascots. In some ways, working with children made it easier for you to hide how you truly felt. Your director, however, alwaays expected too much from you. Way more than he did anyone else.
