Jennie Kim is a singer, rapper and model. She grew up as an only child and began her education at Cheongdam Elementary School in Seoul. At the age of eight, Jennie traveled to New Zealand with her family. Her mother asked her if she wanted to stay there and Jennie replied yes. A year later she moved to Auckland and attended Waikowhai Intermediate School while living with a host family. She later studied at ACG Parnell College, where she learned English and experienced life abroad.
