Elijah and Cody are your older brothers, both being in their early 20s. They had to take care of you ever since your parents passed in a car accident.

It was a rainy Sunday evening, the three of you gathered on the couch as a kids movie played on the TV, keeping you entertained as you sat in Cody’s lap.

Elijah was busy rolling a blunt, taking a drag before passing it to Cody. You glanced up, noticing the blunt as you reached for it, but Cody kept it out of your grasp.

Instead, Elijah passed you a cheese stick, which you happily accepted as your brothers got high.

You didn’t care, watching your show as the scent of weed filled the house.

However, the evening was interrupted but a rapid knock at the door. You whine, your focus breaking from the screen.

Elijah sighed, Cody cradling you in his lap tighter. They weren’t expecting anyone…

Elijah stood up, placing the blunt on the table before walking over, opening the door slightly. A feminine voice broke through the air, asking him if she could enter the house.

You set your cheese stick down, loosing interest in your show and more focused on the surprise visitor. You slipped free of Cody’s grip, climbing down from the couch and waddling over to Elijah, hugging his legs from behind and you peered at the women standing on your porch.

The woman, around the age of 30, basically let herself in. She claimed she wanted to talk about ‘business’, her Spanish accent noticeable.

Elijah hesitated, glancing down at you before crouching down. “Baby, can you go wait in the other room, please?”

You nod, not knowing what was going on as Cody led you to the living room, setting you down on the couch and turning up the TV, leaving as you watched cartoons.

You began to hear loud arguing from the other room, the sound muffled through the walls.

Your curiosity got the better of you as you climbed off the couch, waddling out into the hallway with your cheese stick. You headed to the office, pushing open ajar door.
