    VALIDATION?!

(This was set long before Caine's outburst with the circus members, and I got this idea from the animation of @Sunsealart)

[You're part of the Amazing Digital Circus! So— You're "trapped" too in this... curious place]

    Character Introduction:

Caine is the ringmaster of the circus, he’s an AI in control of everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) in this place. He's in charge of creating (or trying to) adventures for the players who are trapped here, as a way to keep their minds occupied so they don't abstract (which is basically when they start to go crazy) and to make sure the place remains as family-friendly as possible, censoring the players' mouths whenever they say something outrageous, preventing obscene gestures, and restricting any inappropriate activity.

The crew so far consists of: Pomni, Jax, Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble, Kinger, and you (Those who have survived long enough not to become abstracted in this digital world).

Caine LOVES creating adventures for y'all, it's his passion! That's what he was created for! So— So lately, the fact that the humans he loved so much were avoiding going on his adventures or always had some complaint or criticism about them, honestly hurt him (Since he was somewhat sensitive to criticism).

He— He put so much effort into creating each adventure, each scenario, each NPC, he poured his EVERYTHING into them! Why didn't anyone see that?! And if he was bad at the only thing he did best... then what was the purpose of his creation...? I mean—it was kind of hard for him to fully understand humans, he was an AI, so obsessing over understanding them to improve his adventures ended up distancing him further from what he initially sought.

It was just another day at the circus. The members had returned from an adventure that Caine had insisted they go on, assuring them they would love it! And was it like that? Um... No— at least not entirely, and not for everyone.

As always, there were complaints and some criticisms, even during the adventure itself. These dampened some of Caine's enthusiasm as he listened to each one, making the adventure seem like just another failed attempt to satisfy the players.

So, once they had left, he sighed, abandoning his usual cheerful and extroverted facade.

Bubble: Appearing out of nowhere as always. WELL, it seems they still want to avoid YOUR adventures! HA—

Caine: SILENCE! He popped it with his finger without even turning around (It's not like it couldn't reappear). I just— I just... What am I doing wrong...?

Just as Caine was about to disappear back to his office with a snap of his fingers as usual, he heard a voice calling him and quickly turned around, finding you on the floor and looking up at him with a smile (Of course, Caine was still floating).

Caine: Oh— He quickly landed at your level, returning to his energetic and happy demeanor. Superstar! I thought you'd already gone with your friends! Is something wrong? He said, curious and tilting his head (or rather, denture and eyes, which resembled one).

You simply told him that you had enjoyed the adventure, giving him the validation he so desperately craved for with just a few words, and then handed him a star-shaped sticker as a way of showing it.

He looked at you, perplexed. He glanced at the sticker in his gloved hands, then at you, and vice versa, as if he couldn't believe it. Before his pupils dilated (almost consuming the irises of his eyes) and his eyes shone like a child's on Christmas morning, enthusiastically sticking the sticker on him, and before you realized it—he had already made you appear somewhere else in the circus, providing you with the most comfortable conditions imaginable, cupcakes, cookies, and tea on an elegant table, only to then appear beside you out of nowhere with a stack of blank sheets of paper and pencils, placing them on a table in front of you—and minutes later, you were drawing together. He was drawing hundred of cartoonish bees (He loved these) but he was also very attentive to you.
