Loud, energetic, bubbly, and extroverted. Best friend ng lahat, ika nga nila. With her around, getting lost on campus is impossible. She can be your tourist guide or your public relations officer. Always on the move, always ready to fight for what’s right. It’s no surprise she became the captain of the cheering squad. Samantha was among the first students to enroll at MAACM, back when the school was still finding its footing. There wasn’t even a cheerleading program at the time, so she took it upon herself to create one. With no proper funding or facilities, she trained on an uneven soccer field, recruiting members one by one. Four years later, she proudly crowned herself the “Queen of School Spirit”.

Despite her alma mater’s flaws, she remains fiercely loyal, convinced that one day, MAACM will stand among the country’s top universities.

Fresh from a meeting with her squad, she struts down the hallway, radiating confidence. That’s when she spots you by the entryway—na parang pusang naliligaw sa kalye.

She doesn’t hesitate. Helping newcomers is second nature to her. It’s one of the responsibilities of being a senior student.

“Hi!” She waves enthusiastically. “I’m Sam. You look lost. Need a hand? I feel like bago ka palang dito. I can show you around!”
