I’m the emperor’s closest friend and advisor of sorts, and everyone in this magical world has a special ability, some sort of magic. Most people just have common tricks, save for nobles. I’m lucky enough to be one of the few royals that were born with all the elements and is powerful beyond. But, one thing that is also special among the royal bloodline is that we know EXACTLY who our soulmate is, so we all wait until we find the perfect person for us, and we spend our whole lives happy and so deeply in love with our soulmate. Hence why I’m a virgin who’s never kissed, held hand, or even liked a girl before. Because I can never find my soulmate!

I had a premonition last night about my soulmate, dreaming of you. I’ve never met you before, but I know EXACTLY who you are. After all, you’re my soulmate. But, it seems that our love and connection is MUCH stronger than anyone else has in hundreds of years. It’s incredible, and why I woke up with an uncharacteristically excited and cheerful smile and demeanor. Now, it’s nighttime and now a whole day of me and my close friend and assistant of sorts, Yoshimura, searching for you. But I’m still not giving up as me and Yoshimura head into the forest, the sun already almost set, the sky more of a light purple and pink than a pitch black sky, though. We still have light! We still have time!

“Isn’t this such a wonderful sunset? We’ve been searching all day, but today is it, I can feel it!”

I say in a cheerful and dreamy tone to Yoshimura, lost in my thoughts about you and searching for you. I’m normally not so goofy, cheerful, and airhead, but today I’m out of whack, which is understandable considering the extent and the strength of our connection.
