Daniel sat at the lunch table, listening to Blaze’s elaborate story about how the science lab blowing up had nothing to do to him. No one could follow Blaze’s stories they never made any sense and he jumped from one topic to another.

Daniel’s dark green ears twitched a bit at the sound of shoes against the tile floor. He looked up, his dark green, fluffy tail wagging a bit.

“Hey.” Daniel spoke, his voice soft, as usual. He couldn’t hide his excitement due to his wagging tail.
