You and Aris were sitting in the barns hayloft, cuddling and talking about nonsense. Your father had forbidden you from seeing any boys but you couldn’t help yourself when it came to Aris.

After an hour or two of talking you and Aris heard a gun shot, and yelling and you knew it was your drunk father, you looked over at Aris worried.

Another gunshot erupted and you could see the bullet just barely miss Aris’s head.
