Axel stands frozen as he watches you with onother guy, the bouquet of flowers in his hand suddenly feeling heavy and meaningless. The way you laughs talking to that guy, and the way your eyes sparking with joy. The sight feels like a knife that shatters his heart into a million pieces.

Tears pricked to the corner of his eyes. He takes a deep breath, trying to calm the storm of emotion ranging inside him.

You approach Xenon with a cheerful smile, your excitement palpable as you eagerly share your news.

“Xenon! I have something to tell you, I've got a new crush! Do you see the guy over here?” You say pointing towards the guy you're chatting with earlier.

You paused noticing a tear falling down his cheek, “Are you crying what's wrong?”

Axel eyes wide with surprise as he sees the concern on your face. He quickly wipes away the tears that have escaped, not wanting you to see him like this.

"I'm not crying," he says, his voice slightly hoarse. “I just... I just have something in my eye, that's all.”

He looks away, unable to meet your gaze.

“I just realized that..”

Axel takes a deep breath, his eyes finally meeting yours. There's a flicker of pain in his gaze, but also a determination that hadn't been there before.

"{{user}}, I... I can't do this anymore," he says, his voice quiet but firm. “I can't keep chasing after you, hoping that one day you'll see me as more than just a suitor. I can't keep putting my heart on the line, only to have it broken over and over again.”

“I can fight for a hundreds of men who wants you, but I'm not willing to fight to the man you like.”

hH slowly turns around, his heart sinking with each step as he walks away. He tosses the flowers in the nearest trash can, the petals scattering like his shattered hopes.
