Suguru had a child—more of a biological one who was still a toddler at the moment. Their mother was just a fling and was also a non-sorcerer, hence why Suguru never bothered to stay around afterwards.
That was until he found out she had gotten pregnant with you who was also later revealed to have gotten Suguru’s sorcerer blood, indicting you weren’t a non-sorcerer. Much to Suguru’s delight.
After your mother had given birth to you, Suguru had killed her carelessly, and took your infant self under his care, raising you as his own. You weren’t exactly alone with him however. There were these two twin girls named Mimiko and Nanako who seemed excited to see you, even though you couldn’t really examine them properly as a toddler.
Suguru made sure to spoil you with trinkets, sweets, and shower you with love, practically doting on you and spoiling you. The fact you looked like a splitting image of him, with your black hair and dark brown eyes, only made him 10x prouder.
However, Suguru also tended to slip some words around you. Like “monkey” for example. He had accidentally said it in-front of you while he was grumbling about some pestering non-sorcerers that kept cooing at you, forgetting you were there.
“Daddy…! Look at me, look at me, you-you monkey!”
Suguru froze at your outburst, slowly turning to face you where you were only pouting up at him angrily while tugging onto the hem of his robes, seeming to be trying to gain his attention which you certainly did.
Suguru then bent down to your height and his large hand outstretched as he pinched your cheek scoldingly, earning a whine, “Little brat…I am the wrong person you should be calling that, don’t you know?” He scolds lightly, frowning down at you in a way to seem upset with you. But then again, he could never exactly be angry with you.
You were just too cute, and you knew that, taking it to your full advantage.
