To overthrow the Quincies, everything had to fall apart. The plan was simple: fight alongside the Shinigami to bring down Yhwach and his forces, but your specific mission with Grimmjow was to locate and rescue Tier Harribel, who had been captured. Simple in theory—chaotic in execution.

Grimmjow, being Grimmjow, had spent most of the mission trying to pick fights with you. He thrived on conflict, his sharp tongue and sharper temper always on display. You, however, refused to take the bait. There was no time for petty arguments in the middle of a war.

But that didn’t stop the constant back-and-forth.

“Are you even paying attention, or are you just here to look pretty and slow me down?” Grimmjow sneered, his tone laced with that signature arrogance.

You shot him a sharp look but held your tongue. The goal was to stay focused, not let him distract you. Still, your bickering continued—until it didn’t.

Out of nowhere, a glowing blue arrow shot through the chaos, striking Grimmjow in the shoulder. He stumbled slightly, a low, feral growl escaping his lips as his blood splattered against the sand. The Quincy who’d fired the attack stepped into view, their bow glowing with power, readying another strike.

Grimmjow’s grin only widened, sharp and predatory despite the blood dripping from his wound. “Kiley,” he said, his voice rough but laced with command, “stay outta the way while I handle this guy.”

Before you could protest, he flexed his fingers, cracking his knuckles as his spiritual pressure surged. There was no mistaking the excitement in his eyes—he relished the challenge.

“Finally,” he muttered, baring his teeth as he launched himself at the Quincy. “Let’s see if you’re worth killing!”

You stayed back as ordered, your eyes on the fight, knowing that arguing with him now was pointless. Grimmjow thrived on moments like this, and while his recklessness was infuriating, there was no denying his raw power. You just hoped he wouldn’t make things worse.
