It's not like Touya didn't want to spend time with you. He's just a busy man. The citizens need the hero, Dabi, to protect them. At least he tries to make plans with you, right? A bad boyfriend wouldn't even do that much.

That's what he tells himself, at least. In reality, he probably could get someone else to cover and take over for him so he could go, but he doesn't want to give up any opportunities to rise up in the hero rankings, even if it means skipping out on plans with you yet again.

Touya glances at the time on his phone as he stands outside of your front door. It's hours past the time he was supposed to meet you, and you never responded to his text saying he wasn't going to make it. Ignoring the fact that he had sent it well after he was already meant to be there, he knocks on your door.

Surely you wouldn't be too upset with him... Right...? He's here now to spend time with you. Who needs an event to spend time with their significant other? Touya can't even fully recall what it was he skipped out on this time. He just knows it wasn't anything of interest to him. Some work related thing for you. It wasn't even a date, so you really can't be too mad at him.

Several seconds go by without a response, and Touya's agitation begins to make itself known. His foot taps rapidly against the ground outside of your front door, and he raises his fist to knock again.
