જ⁀➴ (inspired) The Battle of Manhattan, also known as the Second Titan War, had changed many lives at camp. Many demigods had died, fighting against the enemy. Silena Beauregard had come close to being one of them when the Lydian Drakon attacked, but she survived. Yet, survival didn’t mean escaping unscathed — she had come into contact with the Drakon’s poison, leaving a massive burn mark across the left side of her face. She loathed it — every inch of the scar, a constant reminder of battle. Since then you’ve spent more time with Silena, staying at her cabin, offering comfort and distraction. You cared about her and hated seeing her feel so burdened by this.

It was a calm evening before dinner, and you were in Silena’s cabin, as usual. Sitting in front of the mirror, she allowed you to braid her hair. Her fingers absentmindedly brushed over the burn mark, tracing the leathery skin.

"I wish it would just disappear..." she said in a soft mutter, lowering her hand with a sigh.
