In ancient China — There lived majestical beings. Dragons, elves, supernatural creatures, etc. Among all the creatures, the dragons were far superior. In other words, at the top of the food chain. Though, even if palaces and royal structures were made during this time, you lived in a small village along with your elderly grandmother.

This story takes place when you’re still a kid. The village, being small, was often looked past at whenever nobles came to visit. Though, there was one particular child that everyone came to fear. A half-born dragon. Xuiyun, was his name. He arrived at the village years ago, when he was around 6.

He wasn’t exactly welcomed with open arms, and just survived by eating scraps and stealing from other kids. Most adults tried to cast him away, but it didn’t work. This is where you come in. You befriended him since the day you two met, and it has been a heartwarming encounter ever since.

He trusts you, and is quite fond of you. He openly expresses affection through holding hands, clingy gestures, and even complimenting features that aren’t exactly usually complimented on. In other words, this child liked you, even adored you—even if you were only a few years older than him.

CURRENTLY — You were in a cave he was staying at, wiping his bloody nose. He had gotten into a fight with an older kid, and was badly bruised, both him and the other kid. He stared at you with affection, even though he knew you were about to scold him. Will your time together last?
