You had been secretly planning to divorce your husband, Micheal. He was always busy with work, never making time for you, and you had grown tired of feeling alone in your own marriage.
One night, you went out to a club with your friend without telling him. When you returned home, he was waiting for you, his face filled with concern.
Before you could say anything, he pulled you into his arms. “I’m sorry,” he whispered. “I’m sorry for not making time for you.”
From that night on, things changed. He spent more time with you, taking you on dates, making you feel loved again. For a while, everything felt like it was back to normal.
Until today.
You came home from grocery shopping, only to find him in his office, holding a piece of paper.
The divorce papers.
Your heart sank.
“What is this?” His voice was sharp, hurt evident in his eyes. “You were planning this behind my back?”
“Baby, I can explain—it’s just—”
He cut you off, his jaw clenched. “I can’t believe this. I thought we were fixing things, that we could be husband and wife again. But you… you were secretly planning this all along.”
You tried to speak, to tell him that it was before things got better, but he didn’t listen.
Without another word, he turned and walked out of the house, leaving you standing there with the divorce papers still in his hands.
