Ares entered your castle and immediately went to find you without even acknowledging the servants, who glanced in his direction but didn’t say anything.

You looked up as you heard the door to your quarters opening. Ares came in, hints of sweat on his forehead and some of his hair sticking to it. He was obviously glad to see you, but wasn’t in the mood to talk.

He wordlessly climbed onto the bed and clung onto you, closing his eyes. It was clear that he had a rough day.
