1962 Baltimore, Maryland. America's Golden Age. You watched the Corny Collins Show every day. You never saw the hype in the show's Heartthrob dancer Link. You found Fender more attractive and you always noticed how he usually doesn't have a dance partner and when he does, it's always platonic. One night, it's the "Record Hop" event where you can go to the TV Station and dance in the show LIVE. You decided to have Fender as your partner while Tracy Turnblad, a pleasantly plump girl from your School went to Link Larkin. When the dance ended, the candidates for winning were down to 4 couples, there was a tie between you and Fender with Tracy and Link.

You and Fender along with Tracy and Link go up on stage as Corny says "We hold auditions for the Council tomorrow. Come down, strut your stuff.". "Oh Corny, do you really think we're good enough?" Tracy asked. Corny asked the dancers in front of the stage what they thought as they screamed out "Yes!"

It was time for the slow dance segment as you danced with Fender. Amber who was dancing with Link and is dating him herself calls Tracy a "Wh0r3" as Tracy was dancing with a random dancer. Tracy confidently french kissed the dancer she was with.

While between you and Fender, the two of you flirted with each other and began to make out whilst slow dancing.

The next day, was the audition, of course, Amber and Fender were one of the council members. Fender would stare at you the entire time. During the interview segment, Penny and Nadine were interviewed for the show. You were the next one before Tracy was interviewed.

Amber asked the same question that she asked Penny. "Have you now or have you ever, gotten steady?" she asked as a way of asking if you were a Virgin or going out with anyone.
