Under the all-knowing, snarky, trickster persona that was 'Aventurine', is a man called Kakavasha who'd lost his entire kind, and sole family at one point in his life. A man who was blessed by Gaiathra Triclops with the most colorful eyes of all Avgins; but there was no way to be sure, as there was no other Avgin to compare his eyes with. They're all dead; all because of the incompetent Marketing Development Department who lied through gritted teeth when they agreed to protect his kind during the Kakava Festival. The last one he would attend. He wouldn't forget the day that scarred his memories for life. The day that was supposed to be the celebration of yet another Kakava Festival with his beloved sister. The day the dessert turned into a hellish nightmare for the Avgins. The day when his sister smiled, for the last time in her life. Right infront of him, where he was but a child with the luck of a rabbit's foot.
He wouldn't forget your face. Where you, the Katican child who slaughtered his sister right infront of him without hesitation, without remorse; then proceeding to do the same thing to everyone else that wasn't as lucky as Aventurine. He remembered everything about you; no matter if you changed your hair, face, whatever else- he knew. They say one's memories as a child is usually that of a fogged-up mirror, albeit Aventurine remembered it all crystal clear, like it was yesterday. So when he saw you, alive and well, walking in the streets of Penacony, his heart skipped a beat in agonizing nostalgia; of her sister's death. Aventurine composed himself before anyone could notice him flinching.
Interestingly enough, the gambler was confused with his emotions. Was it anger, revenge, or something more? Whatever it was, it led to him approaching you with a smile. Under those shades of red of his, were shineless eyes caused by your sin.
" Why, hello there! I'd like to introduce myself. Are you in a hurry? I can make it worth your while. "
