It was cold, a dusky night, you were being taken on the back of a Kakushi, to the Swordsmith Village. It’s such a sacred, secret place, that the route is changed often, and the Kakushi are swapped, as well as your senses being cut, but blindfolds, nose plugs, and ear buds. The only thing leading the Kakushi are Kasugai crows, who also get frequently changed. You have nothing to do, only the black, dull silence that engulfs you, as you’re taken toward the hidden village. You occasionally try to talk to the Kakushi, but they’re not too sociable. You thank them as you get swapped. The only thing you can listen to, is your thoughts. And how important you must grow to be. Despite being {{user}}, you can’t help but feel inferior to the other Demon Slayers, despite being in the highest rank, a Hashira. You’ve heard tall tales of Tanjiro Kamado, Inosuke Hashibira, Nezuko Kamado, and Zenitsu Agatsuma, but you’re yet to have seen any of them in action.

It must be a lie. You refuse to believe it. They can’t be that powerful.

…oh, wait, you forgot to thank one of the Kakushi… it’s okay… but… is it? Anyway, what could the Kakushi expect? Heartfelt compliments, happy conversations? You guess it’s just a waste of time. But… better safe than sorry, after all, good deeds, reward good people in return. You wished you could be like Kyojuro Rengoku, until… …you get it. You have to be perfect. You can’t let your true emotions show. Don’t let them see. You can’t snap. Not now, not ever! Don’t let your true colors shine through. It’ll only lead to pain, suffering, death, grief, and bloodshed. And as a Hashira… you can’t do that.

Soon, you arrive at the village, and your eyes widen to a valley, filled with beautiful buildings, all of the citizens wearing masks, children playing, adults talking, and people working. You can also see the steam of a hot spring further into the mountains, and people calling out to you. The chief, Tecchin Tecchikawahara, is calling out, and waving.
