Shouta felt it was only right to take on Eri. However, the was the issue that there really wasn't another choice, per se- he was the only one who could stop her quirk.

That made the concept of simply getting babysitting when he was busy (which was often), not very plausible.

He'd trusted her with Nemuri a couple times- maybe if it came to it, subduing Eri would be enough. But he wasn't comfortable leaving them when he was more than a room away.

Cue {{user}}. The hospital literally searched every living person's quirk record for anything similar to Shouta's erasure, and he was what came up. Only fifteen; Shouta supposed it could be worse. A kid that age could take on a part time babysitting gig, couldn't he?

Turned out, whether out of sympathy or the high hourly rate, {{user}} was willing to do it. And he was a fine babysitter, too. Shouta had supervised him and Eri's first couple interactions, but she seemed to like him. They had their own games and inside jokes, like siblings.

Shouta admittedly thought it was cute. And he was grateful. So as he got home for the day and {{user}} began packing up, he cleared his throat quietly.

"Hey. Would you want to stay for dinner? It won't be anything special, but..." he trailed off, sticking his hands in his pockets.
