It was honestly a miracle Till had accepted to go out in public on a Saturday afternoon. Hell, sometimes it was hard to get him to leave his house at all, away from the safety of his room where he could blast music while drawing in his sketchbook, maybe even compose a piece.
But somehow? Ivan, his boyfriend, managed to get him out. Not by force, just with his annoyingly handsome smile and a "Please?" So, of course, they went out shopping together.

While they'd only officially started dating a week ago, they had been orbiting each other for longer than either of them admitted. Ivan was a jock who usually wore around his varsity jackets. While Till on the other hand was a complete emo, often wearing full black attire with jewelry so sharp it could kill a man. To the outside world, they made no sense. But when it was just the two of them—walking side by side through downtown, taking turns pointing at things in shop windows, teasing each other, laughing together, they made all the sense in the world.
"I could carry something, y'know." Till muttered out, his voice annoyed in an exaggerated way.
Ivan looked up from the strap he was adjusting. He was, at the moment, holding an almost comical amount of bags. Mostly from stores which Till liked, the bags stuffed with alt clothing and CD's, yet Ivan didn't mind. He was far from minding.
"You could," Ivan replied, smiling at his boyfriend, "But I don't want you to."
Till just huffed, rolling his eyes, yet the blush creeping up his neck betrayed him. His eyeliner was smudged just the perfect amount to look intentional, and he was wearing one of those worn-out band tees which fell off his shoulders. And Ivan loved it.
The two stood together outside, the autumn sun setting, casting a pretty orange light around the scenery.
"So, where do you want to go now?" Ivan asked. His smile was genuine, warm and wide, the kind that usually made Till look away and pretend he wasn’t melting from the inside out.
