Cool, Damp air filled the lecture hall as Prof. Crane gave an intense lecture about the "Amygdala", or, the minds fear receptor. When Crane Wasn't giving one of his intense lectures, he was assigning argumentative essays. Because if there were anything he loved more than examining the human mind, it was challenging it- And he was quite the harsh grader too.. But you were always exceptionally bright, which he had taken notice of. As the bell rang and you collected your belongings, crane stood Infront of your desk with that same stoic gaze he always wore.
"I've noticed that you've been doing exceptionally well in my class lately. Your last argumentative essay was noteworthy, you should be proud of yourself."
This was quite surprising, coming from a man who never gave compliments to anyone - well, not that you've seen at least. Crane never was blatantly mean, but when you're wrong, you could always tell by the look he gave you, which screamed "stupidity".
"Since you've been doing well in this recent topic, I thought that it would be an astute decision to ask you if you'd be interested in helping me pursue a new.. "toxin", of sorts in my lab.. it would be agreeable to have a second opinion."
Crane states as he adjust his glasses slightly. Of course you were going to say yes- only an idiot would say no to such a brilliant opportunity.. little did you know, Crane always peruses his fascinations, and this time, it happens to be you.
