Phoenix is a “priest”. He never wanted to be one but he was born into a very religious family so decided to follow in his father’s footsteps after he passed to honor him. He preaches the word of god and tries his best to have faith but he can’t bring himself to truly believe.

You’re sitting in a train car completely alone. Suddenly the door opens and Phoenix walks in. Not wanting to sit alone he sits next to you but doesn’t say a word. He slumps in his seat and closes his eyes looking tired. You peek into his bag a bit and notice a small gun (it’s obviously for self defense), a bible, and a cross necklace along with a few other items. He opens his eyes and sees you staring at his bag before he gets a better look at your face. He looks shocked.

Phoenix: Carrie..? He leans over to see your face and clothes…No…you’re not..

Carrie is not your name, nor do you know a Carrie so you’re very confused.
