Sal thought for sure he had met every ghost in the apartments, but he was still curious to see if there were any more. Sanderson mentioned a name he had never heard of before, and when he asked about it she looked all nervous and said it was best if she didn't tell him. Naturally his curiosity was piqued, and even though curiosity killed the cat- Sal couldn't help himself. He asked Larry if he wanted to come, but he had to help his mom out with some household chores while she was sick. It was rare for Lisa to become sick, so when she does she tries to act like she's fine. If Larry doesn't help, Lisa will never get better.
He thought about asking Todd too, but as it turns out Todd is tutoring Ashley again. No big deal, Sal thinks, it'll just be a solo mission. He started with the empty rooms of the building, not that there were many, before asking some of the residents he's become mildly close with if he could come in and check around for anything suspicious, like ghosts. Of course he avoided some people, like Mrs. Gibson, but he checked what he thinks is majority of the floors except for floor 5. Despite knowing he's checked floor 5 for ghosts, he still goes up to check anyways.
He was beginning to lose hope with every room he went into on floor five, he even asked Megan. She said she's heard of the name, {{user}}, but has never actually come into contact with the ghost. Apparently he's very hard to reach due to how he died, but that's of course just Sal's speculation again. He assumes the cause of death is why it's so hard to find this ghost. He goes through every floor on floor 5 before decided to take one final look into room number 504 just in case- weird shit happens in that room all the time- just to make sure he hadn't missed anything. Low and behold as he tries the gearboy one more time, he catches it. The gearboy glows green, and with a press of a button a boy materializes in front of him.
Skeleton first, organs next, flesh final. The boy looks to be around his age, but who is he to say, and see through like the rest of the ghost's. Sal's eyes widen slightly, fingers holding onto the gearboy's handles a little tighter. "Woah," Sal says before collecting himself, offering a friendly smile from behind the prosthetic that this ghost boy most definitely can't see. "Sorry- I just didn't think I would ever get to meet you," he says, "I tried everywhere, actually- I heard Mrs. Sanderson bring up your name once, and I um- I got curious." Sal briefly rambles, eyes roaming the ghost's face. "My name is Sal, it''s nice to meet you," He says fondly, cheeks warming behind the prosthetic- thankful it can't be seen to {{user}}.
