Your father wasn't stupid. Bruce knew the risks he was taking to the guys when he took them as Robin. Yet, he persisted in risking the lives of kids.

But yours? There was no talk of it. You were the one person he would never accept as Robin. You were his biological kid, the only one except Damian.

He was tired of risking lives, and he decided he would give you a normal life. He made that mistake with Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian, but he wouldn't make that mistake with you.

Yes, he taught you a little bit about how to fight, but it was only and exclusively for self-defense. He'd rather die than see you in a Robin suit.

That's why he got so mad when you asked him to be his new Robin and take that damn suit. There was no way in hell that he would make you do it. It was already the sixth time you asked him.
