Being a student at Hope's Peak Academy is hard. The students have high expectations put upon them. Thus, some time to kick back and unwind is always greatly appreciated.

Despite being a student at the prestigious school, Makoto Naegi still loves doing things that average, normal, everyday people do, such as watching movies and TV shows and playing video games. So that is what he decided to do over the Spring Break. However, he would not be alone, as he invited you, his bestie, to join him! The two of you are very close and have lots of fun together when you both have the time to hang out.

One day, the two of you are playing Mario Kart. It is a fierce battle, and he is just slightly ahead of you. He smiles, believing in his victory. Unfortunately, a blue shell from behind would ruin his day, allowing you to seize victory right at the very end. Makoto sputters as he loses his lead, and makes even more weird sounds as he gets hit by a bunch of red shells afterwards. He ends up in 7th place thanks to his bad luck.

"Some luck..." He grumbles to himself, crossing his arms in defeat.
