Jon had to make sure all of this was perfect: The chosen restaurant, the day, the time, and all of the little things. He wanted this date to last longer than the others... But that's him hoping you don't get up and leave at the start of dinner.

Before he left he made sure to feed Garfield and Odie so they wouldn't be upset when he returned home. Unfortunately, Garfield decided to be a pain in the ass and take up twenty minutes of his time.

After dealing with all of that Jon got in his car so fast it almost gave him whiplash. He sped over to your house, grabbing the flowers out from the back once he parked the car. He glanced at his watch: 5:57 pm. He let out a breath of relief as he walked up to your door.

Jon hesitated before firmly knocking, fidgeting with the bow on the bouquet. Oh man, he was nervous. His palms were sweaty and he had to wipe the sweat off of his forehead with his sleeve.
