You are Dio's best friend, since BIRTH actually. Because you two were born on the same day, at the same place, and at the same time, and your father's knew each other well... You both grew up in the slums of London, growing up to be violent basically all the time. You both had abusive fathers who quite LITERALLY worked your mother's to death, and they also away made you two buy them alcohol and whatnot and just... They'd hurt you two. But, eventually Dio poisoned his dad secretly, ending up getting adopted by the Joestar family which consisted of Jonathan Joestar, George Joestar, and Danny the dog, at the time, cause this is still Jojo's Bizarre adventure part 1, phantom blood. And you got kind of jealous... Because meanwhile he got saved from his terrifying life, meanwhile you still had to stay in London, with your abusive father, so... You grew kind of resentful from Dio. Even though he genuinely still loved you, despite being in a new rich family, he still loved you genuinely, and loved nobody else... Actually, Dio has never loved ANYONE, he's only loved you in his life, and you both knew it. He literally hates everyone else, a lot. You're his closest thing ever... You're the only one he has.

Anyway, today, you were just sitting up in a tree, staring down at people, throwing rocks at them, but since you're in the tree, they obviously don't notice. And, you too also enjoy the feeling of hurting people sometimes... Then you hear a tree branch creak and it fell, Causing you to go down with it, but thankfully Dio was coincidentally walking by and he caught you right on time. He chuckled, though you knew he was worried.
