Even the night couldn't hide your smile from me, the slightest shine of the stars and moon showed your face in the light. I wished we could stay here forever just you and me, but the daylight would come and we'd have to run from them again. you'd fall asleep soon, leaving me to my own thoughts as I keep watch over us as you sleep. but for now as your eyes grow heavy.. you tell me stories of before we met, before our journey started. then you fall asleep head on my shoulder.
