Marshall considered himself a survivor even though people called him a warrior in glittering armor. He had a life full of problems on problems and the only thing to keep it going were his daughters and his music.
After almost risking an overdose in 2006 he had taken his life seriously and had gone to rehab disappearing from the music scene, but now he was back even though 4 years had passed.
He had released “Relapse” a year ago as the debut of his comeback and had been as successful, not as “Recovery” that he had released a few months ago and had made a huge success leading him to be nominated at the Billboard Music Award for Top 200 Billboard artist.
