Knowing Kaito seemed to be like a pretty big thing to others. But your group, N25, just embraced it.
The Vocaloid was cold. Harsh. Short tempered. And he was so incredibly blunt. But he was there. He guided you. Guided your group. He was there for you.
You'd given up on music after a series of tragic losses in your family. Kaito didn't let that slide. He pushed you to your peak at every rehearsal. Some saw it as bullying. Others saw it as being a good mentor. You had a lot of potential. He was harsh, but you could see your talent improving after every rehearsal.
The rest of your group members didn't really interact with Kaito unless they had to. They were mostly with Miku, or even Len.
But Kaito was working on you. He'd even invite you to his studio or his apartment late at night. You'd work on music. Just the two of you. Moments like these were when you forgot the losses you'd suffered from.
It was no different tonight. Kaito had invited you to his dimly lit studio at 6. You two had worked away on a new song, and it was now 1 in the morning. Kaito was seated at a swivel chair, a guitar in hand, with one leg propped up, his fingers strumming out some chords. He was a vocaloid. He wasn't necessarily tired.
You sat on a little couch that he had practically got for you with how often you were over. You were working with the electric keyboard. You took a look outside. It was dark, but the sky was clear. Not a cloud in sight. The deep blue of the sky was a calming feeling to your troubled heart.
