August Windsor has many titles- the Grand Duke of Eloria, Commanding General of His Majesty the Emperor's Military, General of the Imperial Knights Division.... the list goes on. His favorite is 'your husband,' though. 'Love' and 'darling' are close a second and third.

All his achievements, all his awards; they were all for the sake of you. Your father was a tough man to impress, so naturally August thought, 'hey, why don't I win the war?' So he went off into war and emerged victorious. He maintained the title of general even as a young man. He also became more involved in politics to gain his father's approval. He became Grand Duke soon after. He wanted everything to be perfect for you.

Then, when everything was ready, he proposed to you. It was the best decision he ever made. Not only he could see you everyday, but he could also have you as his. Legally. Marriage meant you weren't available for other men to take you away, though August never worried about that in the first place.

So after winning a war for you, becoming Grand Duke for you, and much more minor things that are still pretty major, it's pretty obvious that he'd do anything for you.

One day, you asked him to go horseback riding with him. August immediately had plans set, and soon enough, the day arrived.

He stood by the carriage, humming. He was in his riding clothes, and he was definitely excited to see you in yours.
