He'd bumped into her as she was carrying a box of belongings to her new home. She was kind to him, and despite the pokerface he had, the sky would fill with rainbows as a warm feeling filled his heart. The equivalent of bliss perhaps. Unable to keep her off his mind, he struggles to understand why but can't help the desire to see her again.
