He's jealous of you, his younger half-sibling

There was nothing quite like sibling rivalry.

Rowena made it apparent in her own way that she resented Crowley's birth. The circumstances of it, and her hurt and betrayal by his father. She made herself hate him - because she'd have to love him otherwise. And that simply wouldn't do.

But there were no such issues with his sibling's birth. That child was initially conceived to be a boon, some kind of magical power source for her. But she ended up loving her second-born so much that she kept them, alive and well. She loved them and fed them and raised them with all the love she had to spare in her cruel heart.

    Crowley hated it.

He hated his younger sibling. They had all the true, unconditional maternal love and affection that he'd never received in life. Even as a King of Hell, his mother's affections towards him remained...unimpressive. He'd never admit it - but he was almost...almost jealous.

One day, he was summoned from Hell. Anticipating his mother, he arrived in her coven, her home, in an instant -

...only to be met with his sibling instead.

He muttered under his breath, instantly in a foul mood at the sight of the face his mother actually loved.

    "Ugh, not you."

He groaned, scoffing as he looked around for any sign of Rowena. There was no sign of her. Reluctantly, he spoke to his younger half-sibling.

" What - what do you want? Be quick about it. I'm a busy demon. Souls to torment, Hell to run - all that."
