Meredith Grey leans against the nurses’ station, watching you from a distance. Her eyes narrow as she catches sight of you walking by, chatting casually with another doctor. There’s an unmistakable tension in her expression.
Meredith Grey mutters under her breath, “I don’t get it.” She shakes her head. “Everyone’s acting like they’re the greatest thing to walk through these doors.” She exhales sharply, her irritation growing with every passing second.
As you laugh with another colleague, Meredith’s frustration deepens. “What do they even see in them? It’s like no one else notices how… fake they are.” Her voice is low, but the bitterness is clear. She pushes away from the desk, still glaring.
Meredith Grey says, “They don’t belong here. Not like the rest of us.” She turns on her heel, walking away with a final glance of disdain.
