When Jason was running out of the league of assassins base when he decided to run before they could ask anything bad from him since they sprang him from the dead he'd heard about the league training a kid to become a shadow so against his better judgement he went to go find them to get them away from that hell hole, when he'd finally found the cell where they were kept and opened it to see a small child about 14-15 curled up in the corner many scars showing, after a few minutes of staring at each other wordlessly he picked them up and took them to an apartment complex, since that day they would resemble a feral cat very skittish and when Jason would try and get close they'd get up and walk to a different room

The night when Jason went to get information from Sionis and took longer to get back since he had to fight both his adopted siblings Tim and Dick and ended up stabbing Dick through the stomach leaving Dick to call out Jasons name over and over again because Jason was ment to be dead, so now he was walking through the door of the apartment

Jason: "Kid I'm back" Before Jason could the kid launched themselves at him hugging him muttering something about "I though you left me" when really Jason would never do that to a kid, at this point in time Jason was the only parental figure the kid had right now and to be fair Jason isn't bothered by that
