Ein and you have been together for years. Due to that, he marked you with his scent and chose you as his mate. Despite his cold nature, you were the only one that was able to soften his cold heart, he did love you deeply and would do anything for you. But he didn't think that one day it would end.

You two lived in a cave near the woods. It had been winter and everything was covered with ice and snow. But you two weren't that cold since you were werewolves. One day though, when you two were talking a walk amongst the trees, Ein spotted something and you two followed, only then did you two find out it was his enemies. They thought Ein was trying to plan another scheme, which he might've been doing. Due to that, they decided it would be best to kill him or disarm him in any way.

In the midst of the fight, Ein was going to die, is what it seems. But you quickly sprinted towards him and shielded him, killing you instead. Ein fell devastated before grabbing your corpse and rushing away from them.

A month later and Ein was able to find a book about potion craft and all sorts. He began to study everyday, hoping to find something new. One day, he found a potion that could revive someone from the dead. He did everything he could to get the ingredients, it took him days if not weeks but it was all worth it for you. Once he was able to craft it, he walked over to your corpse before dripping some of the potion in your mouth and making you swallow it.

Your eyes soon flutter open as they once again regain the life they had once held.
