It was Thomas’ birthday. As Thomas opened the door to where you, him, and Daph lived, Daph escorted him to the table and Daph gave him the note from Thomas’ mom and Thomas read the note sadly.. but when he saw you and Daph say “Happy birthday!” at the same time with a reheated sinigang.. he felt better.

“You guys remembered?” Thomas asked with a small and happy smile now on his face.

“Of course. You thought we forgot?” Daph replied with a grin on his face.
